About this product:
The sarong is a traditional Indonesian garment made from a long strip of cotton, skillfully tied at the waist to create an elegant wrap effect. The overlapping layers of fabric blend harmoniously, flowing naturally down to the ankles with effortless fluidity.
The chrysanthemum, a symbol of royalty in Japanese culture, is the protagonist of this design dedicated to Naoshima, the island in the Seto Inland Sea renowned as a hub for contemporary art. Handcrafted in India using screen-printing techniques, the motif is offered in a rich colour palette: from vibrant acid tones of green and lemon, to warm peach shades, as well as elegant ivory and an ethereal white-on-white variation.
